Prime-Ark® Horizon Blackberry
Flavor: A perfect balance of sweet and acidic. These berries are exceptionally large and firm, making them ideal for fresh eating, baking, or freezing without losing their shape.
Growth Habit & Size: An upright, primocane-bearing variety. It features a vigorous growth habit, reaching 5–6 feet tall. Because it is a primocane variety, it can potentially produce two crops per year on both old and new wood.
USDA Zones: 5–9.
Pollination: Self-fertile. You only need one plant to produce a full crop of berries.
Harvest Date: Summer (on second-year canes) and Late Summer/Fall (on first-year canes).
Shipping Note: These plants are grown in 4-inch containers to ensure a robust root system, then carefully transitioned to bare root status for shipping to reduce stress and cost.
