Joan J Raspberry
Flavor: Known for being one of the best-tasting thornless red raspberries. The fruit is large, firm, and deep red with a classic, rich raspberry sweetness and very little acidity.
Growth Habit & Size: An everbearing, completely thornless variety. It has very sturdy, upright canes that usually reach 4–5 feet tall. Because it lacks thorns, it is one of the easiest varieties to prune and harvest.
USDA Zones: 3–8.
Pollination: Self-fertile. You only need one plant to produce a full crop of berries.
Harvest Date: Late Summer to Fall (starts ripening in early August).
Shipping Note: These plants are grown in 4-inch containers to ensure a robust root system, then carefully transitioned to bare root status for shipping to reduce stress and cost.
